Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chev Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and God Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chelios kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In Waves. The key to victory for Chev Chelios has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chelios throws a jab when Devil was well out of range.
Devil lands a jab.
Chelios misses with a double jab
and Devil cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
God Devil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chelios lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Devil fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chelios looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Chelios counters with a nice kick to the body.

Devil closes the distance and clinches up with Chelios, looking for a takedown. Devil pushes Chelios against the cage but Chelios circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chev Chelios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of God Devil.

and Chelios counters with a good low kick that Devil was not able to check.
Chelios tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Devil lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Devil takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

enabling Chelios to counter with a crisp jab.

Devil gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Chelios gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
