The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a jab when Blake was well out of range.
Joe throws a hook to the side of Blake's head but Blake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Joe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Joe both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Bernard Blake has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Joe. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Joe.
Joe is looking to clinch but Blake is avoiding it.
Blake misses with a shot to the body
and Joe counters with a right hand to the body.

Blake scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blake looks to land a strike but Joe avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Blake wants to control from the top but Joe keeps moving.

Joe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blake is aware though and is defending well.
Blake scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Blake throws a big right hand that misses.
Joe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Blake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blake lands a big elbow - Joe is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Blake!
