A fine choice. Elkins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Care Bear Countdown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwight Elkins!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kerns tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Elkins is rocked!
Kerns has Elkins pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Elkins is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Kerns - that's hurt Elkins badly! Oh, another knee lands and Elkins is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Elkins doesn't seem to be complaining.
