Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aulis Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sendo Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Makkonen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metsämiehen Laulu. Sendo Takeshi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Aulis Makkonen's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makkonen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Makkonen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Good standup being displayed there by Takeshi as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Aulis Makkonen has been cut.
Takeshi throws a body punch but Makkonen moves out of range.
Makkonen lands a high kick!
Makkonen scores with a leg kick.
A slow jab from Takeshi misses its intended target.
Makkonen looks to land a combination but Takeshi avoids it well.
Takeshi throws the left hand but Makkonen avoids the punch easily.
Makkonen lands a head kick. Takeshi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Sendo Takeshi has been cut.
Makkonen throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Makkonen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Makkonen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Takeshi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Takeshi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A looping hook to the body misses from Takeshi. Makkonen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice jab there from Makkonen.
Takeshi takes a kick to the side of the head.
Takeshi avoids the head kick by Makkonen.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Takeshi lands a body shot.
Takeshi tries to land a front kick but Makkonen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Makkonen blocks a jab.
Takeshi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Makkonen throws a head kick that half lands.
Takeshi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Takeshi keeps Makkonen at a distance using the push kick.
Makkonen is breathing heavily.
Takeshi lands a nice looking body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Makkonen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Makkonen is rocked!
Makkonen walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Makkonen limp body while Takeshi jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sendo Takeshi!
Sendo Takeshi decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
