Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kickin Rad!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Showhey Baba!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad misses with a body shot.
Rad throws a leg kick but Baba checks it.
Rad blocks a low kick nicely.
Baba connects with a solid leg kick.
Rad blocks a head kick by Baba.
Good leg kick by Rad there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rad throws a shot to the body.
Rad throws a body kick that misses.
Rad lands a really nice looking cross but Baba seems unphased.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rad moves out of range of the body kick.
Rad bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Baba's head.

Baba walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rad checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Rad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baba, pushing him back against the cage.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Baba.
Rad pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Baba is trying to pull guard but Rad has him pressed against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rad takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Rad.
Baba blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Rad seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Rad lands a nice elbow.
Rad unloads a knee to the mid-section. Baba lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Rad misses with a body punch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice elbow from Rad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baba jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rad walks away with a smile on his face. Baba gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Baba checks a leg kick nicely.
Rad just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kickin Rad dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Rad looks to throw the jab but Baba is out of range.
Rad misses with a head kick.
Rad doesn't manage to clinch there - Baba circles away.
Rad checks the leg kick.
Baba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rad.

Rad scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Baba is trying to escape the mount.
A nice elbow there by Rad.

Baba sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Baba wants to get back to full guard.
Baba slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Rad is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rad trying to control but Baba is working from the bottom.

Baba has his foot on Rad's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rad works his way back into a safe position though.

Rad wants to stand but Baba has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rad wants to control from the top but Baba keeps moving.
Rad not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kickin Rad has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rad turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rad throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Baba checks a leg kick nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rad. That's going to slow Baba down.
Baba gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rad Throws a clean left jab. Rad Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Baba's chin! Baba crumbles to the ground and Rad follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Rad!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kickin Rad!
