Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Sonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tesco Vee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tesco Vee!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonny misses with a wild combination.
Sonny throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Good exchange - Sonny coming out on top.
Vee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vee.
Vee lands a slapping body shot.
Sonny misses the shot to the body.
Vee explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Sonny looks to land a left hand but Vee moved out of range nicely.
Vee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vee scoring well with a low kick there.
Vee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sonny swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vee cracks the inside of Sonny's front leg.
Sonny tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vee swivels and escapes.
Vee cracks Sonny with a good jab.

Vee moves into the clinch successfully.
Vee is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Vee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sonny backwards.
Sonny drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vee is pressed up against the cage. Sonny has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vee down to the mat. Vee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Sonny. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sonny lands with a nice combination. Vee backs away looking to recover.
Vee throws the kick towards the body but Sonny avoids it.
Vee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sonny on the side of the head.
Nice sprawl there from Vee as Sonny shoots in.
Vee connects with a body shot.
Sonny is breathing heavily.
Vee throws a combination. Sonny tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Jim Sonny has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big left from Sonny misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vee.
A telegraphed right hand from Sonny misses the target.

Sonny throws an overhand right that lands on Vee's shoulder, as Vee tries to avoid the shot.
Vee slips a jab from Sonny.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sonny. Vee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vee scores with a spinning back kick!
Both fighters circling a little - Vee finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Vee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vee is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sonny rather than just go for the knockout.
An inside leg kick lands from Vee.
Vee throws a head kick that Sonny semi-blocks.
Sonny is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Vee's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Vee lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Vee forces Sonny back against the cage and clinches.

Vee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Vee does it's job there.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vee, right into the meat.
Sonny tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vee swivels and escapes.

Vee clinches up with Sonny and pushes him back against the cage.

Vee lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sonny backwards.
Vee scores with a nice hook to the head.

Jim Sonny's cut is getting worse.
Vee is struggling to control the position.

Vee breaks the clinch.
Sonny on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sonny throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vee counters with a nice body kick.

Vee has closed the distance and engaged Sonny in a clinch.
Vee lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sonny or not.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sonny. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sonny's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A nice right hand lands inside from Vee.
Vee is trying to drag Sonny to the mat but Sonny just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Vee lands a right hand.

Vee is struggling to control the position.
Sonny blocks an elbow strike from Vee.
Vee lands with a right to the head.
Vee just leaning against Sonny, taking a breather.
Vee softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Sonny wants to take the fight to the mat but Vee manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Vee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Vee shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sonny is trying to defend but Vee finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tesco Vee dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jim Sonny's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Nice takedown defense from Vee. No joy for Sonny on that attempt.
Vee bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Vee has closed the distance and engaged Sonny in a clinch.
Vee is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Vee lands a hook that snaps the head of Sonny backwards.
Vee with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Vee lands with a right to the head.
Vee pushes Sonny back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sonny is working for takedown but Vee is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Sonny. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vee gets through Sonny's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Vee drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sonny pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vee thows a body kick. Sonny tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vee, right into the meat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Vee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sonny's calf.
Sonny has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vee.

Vee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vee lands a head kick!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sonny crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vee - the referee stops the clock and Sonny gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vee. Sonny manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sonny is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Vee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Vee moves into the clinch.
Sonny prevents the takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sonny takes a shot to the head.
Sonny tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vee lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Vee will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sonny up against the cage.
Vee makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Jim Sonny's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Sonny changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Vee connects with an inside leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vee. That's going to slow Sonny down.
Vee scoring well with a low kick there.
Sonny steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vee. That one must have hurt.
Vee lands an overhand right.

Sonny is rocked!
Vee weaves into range and cracks Sonny right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sonny goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Vee is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tesco Vee!
A relieved looking Tesco Vee thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
