A telegraphed takedown attempt from Targaryen is defended easily by Gerard.
Targaryen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gerard scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Viserion Targaryen has been cut.
Gerard leaves Targaryen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viserion Targaryen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Targaryen tries for a takedown but Gerard circles away easily

and Gerard counters with a nice right hand that sends Targaryen toppling to the canvas! Targaryen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gerard finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gerard works Targaryen's body with a nice hook.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Targaryen.
Targaryen is breathing heavily.

Gerard gets a clinch.
Gerard lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Targaryen or not.
Still in the clinch, Gerard scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gerard stalls.

Gerard drops Targaryen onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Targaryen is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Targaryen is rocked!
Gerard lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Gerard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gerard throws a monster overhand right that drops Targaryen! Gerard follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
