The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Washington counters with a stiff right hand.
Stone tries to bum rush Washington with a series of wild strikes but Washington uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Washington counters with a three punch combo that has Stone backing up. Stone nods at Washington to acknowledge the strikes.
Washington lands a really nice looking cross but Stone seems unphased.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Washington cracks Stone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Stone gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Stone tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Washington is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Stone buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Stone!! Stone is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Washington throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
