Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spartacus Thracian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thracian comes to the cage accompanied by I am Spartacus!!! I stand alone . Morris has chosen Heartbeats as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thracian fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Morris closes the distance and clinches up with Thracian, looking for a takedown. Morris pushes Thracian against the cage but Thracian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thracian connects with a nice short shot to Morris's temple.

Morris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Thracian pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Thracian defends it easily.
Thracian chips away with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Morris throws a hook to the side of Thracian's head but Thracian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Morris throws out a loose jab but Thracian uses good head movement to avoid it.

Morris ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thracian's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Morris connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thracian scrambles back to his feet.
