PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Mosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abaka Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ted Mosby has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ted Mosby seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Khan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Khan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Khan feints a jab promting Mosby to slip. Khan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mosby slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Khan delivers a nice body kick.
Khan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Khan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mosby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mosby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mosby is pushing down on Khan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Khan is fighting to maintain full guard but Mosby has managed to sneak the leg through.

Mosby is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Khan is just riding it out for now. Mosby eventually gives up the hold.

Mosby is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Khan has managed to free his arm - good work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Good leg kick by Khan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
