Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haris Haris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes to the ring accompanied by Come To Daddy. John McClane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John McClane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Haris Haris!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane fails to land with a series of punches.
Haris shoots for a double leg takedown but McClane sprawls well. He's pushed Haris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Haris throws a lazy head kick
and McClane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Haris fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McClane avoids it really well and circles away.
McClane lands with a nice body kick.
Haris connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McClane momentarily.


It looks like John McClane has been cut.

McClane gets a clinch.
Haris misses with a punch to the body.
Haris looking for a takedown.
John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haris Haris.
Haris is looking for a takedown.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McClane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McClane scores with a hook to the body. Haris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McClane fails in his attempt to clinch.

McClane swinging wildly here.
Haris has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McClane finds it's way round the side to connect with Haris's head.
Sloppy strikes from McClane. Those never looked like landing.

Haris slips a jab and a cross from McClane.
Haris dives in and grabs McClane's left leg, looking for a takedown. McClane pushes down on Haris's head and hops out.
Haris shoots in looking for a takedown. McClane tries to sprawl out of it but Haris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. McClane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McClane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Haris's head backwards.

Haris drives through and clinches with McClane against the ropes.
Haris prevents McClane from breaking the clinch.
McClane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haris tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McClane just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Haris as McClane tries to tie him up.
McClane throws an elbow that misses.
McClane keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Haris's efforts to push away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Haris is trying to pull guard but McClane has him pressed against the ropes.

McClane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McClane throws a series of punches but Haris avoids them all with ease.
Haris shoots in but no luck this time.
McClane tries to clinch
and Haris counters with a series of strikes. McClane will be more careful next time no doubt.
Haris looks gassed!

A combination from McClane does no damage.
McClane tries a head kick but it misses.
McClane throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Haris counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Haris.
McClane tries to circle away but Haris has him pinned against the ropes.
McClane looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Haris is trying to break the clinch but McClane has him pressed against the ropes.
McClane prevents a takedown attempt there.
Haris stalling against the ropes.
McClane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

McClane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McClane defends it nicely.
McClane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Haris pushes McClane up against the ropes in a clinch.
Haris is trying to maintain a safe position but McClane gets an underhook and turns Haris into the ropes.
Haris tries to circle away but McClane has him pinned against the ropes.
Haris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from McClane.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McClane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A shot to the liver by McClane. Beautiful body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McClane wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John McClane dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


McClane moves in looking to clinch but Haris pushes him off.
McClane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Haris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McClane swivels and escapes.
McClane wants to clinch.

Haris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Haris wants a takedown but no success here.
Haris is trying to break the clinch but McClane has him pressed against the ropes.
Haris wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Haris is trying to pull guard but McClane turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.

Haris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McClane after a bit of a struggle.
Haris slowing the pace effectively.
McClane has Haris pressed against the ropes, preventing Haris from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Haris jumps guard but McClane turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Haris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McClane after a bit of a struggle.

McClane manages to break the clinch.

McClane wants to clinch up but Haris keeps it at a distance.
Haris circles away from the clinch attempt.

McClane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McClane pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Haris back to the ropes. McClane follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

McClane throws a right hand that Haris ducks under and follows up with a left that Haris also avoids with ease.
McClane tries to clinch but Haris is having none of it.
McClane doesn't manage to clinch there - Haris circles away.
Haris keeps the fight on the outside.

Haris moves into the clinch.
Haris wants to break the clinch but can't.
McClane wants to break the clinch but can't.

McClane breaks from the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haris takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
John McClane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McClane moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McClane feints with a jab and clips Haris right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Haris is sent crashing into the canvas and McClane leaps in for the kill! Haris tries to get to his feet but McClane is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Haris is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John McClane!
After the big win, John McClane made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors ANABOLIC **160** LAUNDRY and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
