Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Androutsos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cassidy & Jag - Cashin Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws out a powerful jab.
Androutsos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Brown tests Androutsos's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown digs a good body shot into Androutsos's ribs.
Androutsos walks into a jab.
Brown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brown gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Androutsos uses good head movement to avoid it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Come on Brown - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Brown cracks Androutsos with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Androutsos has taken the fight to the clinch.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.

Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Androutsos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Androutsos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Androutsos is trying to control the action in half guard but Brown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Androutsos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Marc Androutsos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Androutsos doesn't seem bothered though.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Androutsos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brown defends it nicely.

Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Androutsos moves away.
Androutsos doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Androutsos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown.

Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anthony Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Androutsos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown throws out a loose jab but Androutsos uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Androutsos keeps the fight on the outside.
Androutsos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brown listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Androutsos is trying to push Brown away but Brown has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Androutsos jumps guard and drags Brown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Brown wants to pass the guard but Androutsos is keeping the position.

Androutsos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Androutsos doesn't seem phased though.
Marc Androutsos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Brown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Androutsos has time to react.

Anthony Brown showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Brown has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
