Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Crown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Mortensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminence Front. Mortensen has chosen La gazza ladra as his entrance music. Bobby Crown could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Mortensen's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like David Mortensen has been cut.
Mortensen takes a swing at Crown's ribcage but misses.
Crown throws a poor cross that misses
and Mortensen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Crown's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mortensen won't allow Crown to sweep him here.
Mortensen's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Crown trying to keep a closed guard but Mortensen is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Crown wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Mortensen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crown takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Crown throws an off balance right hand
and Mortensen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Crown thows a body shot but no joy.
Crown misses with a hook. Mortensen ducked under it nicely.
Crown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bobby Crown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mortensen misses with a series of wild punches.
Mortensen tries to close the distance and clinch but Crown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A jab from Crown misses.
Mortensen misses with an uppercut.
Crown misses with a few strikes there.
A telegraphed right hand from Crown misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crown cracks Mortensen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That has opened up David Mortensen's cut even more.
Crown missing with a left hand there. Mortensen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Crown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mortensen was well out of range. Poor timing from Crown.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mortensen can pounce on him.
Mortensen avoids the body shot from Crown.
Crown throws a lazy uppercut
letting Mortensen counter with a right hand.
Crown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mortensen is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Crown lands a left and a right that send Mortensen crashing to the mat, dazed. Crown thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mortensen is rocked!
Crown throws a right hand that misses
and Mortensen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mortensen breaks the clinch.
Crown closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mortensen! Crown dives in looking to finish! Mortensen is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Crown!
