Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes into the arena with Guerreiro by Curumin blaring out of the sound system. Edwards has chosen WASP - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves moves in looking to clinch but Edwards pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Edwards to score with a decent uppercut.

Edwards creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Edwards struggles to land a body shot inside as Alves controls his hands.
Alves pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Edwards avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Edwards defends it easily.
Alves is looking for a triangle but Edwards pushes his legs off easily.

Alves bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Edwards's guard.

Alves keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Edwards's head.

Edwards rolls with it to try and escape but Alves cranks on the arm and Edwards is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
