The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnarsson throws a head kick that Stein semi-blocks.

It looks like Ira Stein has been cut.
A jab from Stein misses.
Stein scores with a punch to the head.

Stein lands a glancing blow to the side of Gunnarsson's head.
Stein dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stein misses the shot to the body.
A slow jab from Stein misses its intended target.
Stein moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gunnarsson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stein.
Stein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ira Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stein scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gunnarsson lands a nice shot that snaps Stein's head back.
Stein fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gunnarsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Stein thows a body shot but no joy.
Stein misses with an uppercut.

Stein missing with a left hand there. Gunnarsson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Gunnarsson throws a nice looking combination but Stein bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Gunnarsson counters with an inside leg kick.
Stein lands with a hook. Gunnarsson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fighters circling - Stein throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stein swings widly with a right hand
and Gunnarsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stein wants to stay close but Gunnarsson steps back to make room for something. Stein seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Gunnarsson and Stein drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Teitur Gunnarsson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
