Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jessie Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Draven!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Draven shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Draven was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Draven moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jackson has worked his arm free - good work by Jackson!

Jackson sneaks out the side door and pushes Draven away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Draven counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Draven looking to control but instead Jackson has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Draven is looking to stall here but Jackson recovers full guard.

Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Draven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Draven throws an elbow that misses. Jackson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Draven's guard. Nice move by Jackson!

Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Draven, up you get!
Draven shoots in but no luck this time.
Draven looks gassed!

Draven is looking to clinch.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Draven shows good takedown defense.
Draven slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Draven sprawls well. Draven wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.

Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Draven is controlling him.

Draven wants to sweep but no luck.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Draven has a closed guard, preventing Jackson from standing up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Draven feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Draven changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jackson gets caught napping as Draven dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard.

Jackson pushes Draven off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Draven defends it nicely.
Draven tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Draven somewhat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Draven.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Draven tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Draven manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jessie Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Draven sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Draven shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Draven is keen to just control but Jackson is a slippery customer.
Jackson has hold of Draven's hands but Draven slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jackson manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson throws a combination. Draven tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Draven closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Draven lands in his opponent's guard.
Draven wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position.

Draven in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Draven wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson wriggles free and stands up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Draven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Draven's waist but Draven gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.
Jackson blocks the body kick.
Jessie Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Draven defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson.

Draven shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Draven finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Draven is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Draven eventually gives up the hold.

Draven misses with a head shot. Jackson uses the momentum to regain guard.
Adam Draven has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Draven gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Draven fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jackson to the ground. Draven is now in Jackson's guard.
Draven throws a strike but Jackson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Jackson stands and steps away. Draven gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Adam Draven is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Draven throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Draven is in Jackson's guard.
Jessie Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Draven has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
