Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tweedle Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee comes to the cage accompanied by Chumbawamba - Tubthumping. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tweedle Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ike Turner!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner checks a leg kick.
Dee thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Turner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Tweedle Dee has been cut.
Dee dodges the punch combination from Turner.

Dee dives in and grabs Turner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes down on Dee's head and hops out.
Turner scores with a hook to the body. Dee takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

A bone on bone clash there as Dee blocks the leg kick.
Turner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Turner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dee throws out the jab.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dee moves away.
Turner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Ike Turner has been cut.

Dee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Turner was covering up waiting for the punch and Dee finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Turner wants to stand up but Dee is controlling him.
Dee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Dee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ike Turner is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Turner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tweedle Dee.
Well Turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
