Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanay Ulrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Frew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frew tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ulrik swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Frew looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice sprawl there from Ulrik as Frew shoots in.
Ulrik wants to clinch.
Frew leaves Ulrik with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ulrik blocks a head kick by Frew.
Ulrik shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frew as he avoids it easily.
Frew shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ulrik as he jumps to the side.
Sanay Ulrik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Frew.
Frew throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ulrik's waist but Ulrik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Frew off to one side.
Frew looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Frew tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ulrik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frew was well out of range. Poor timing from Ulrik.
Frew shoots in for a takedown but Ulrik shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Frew tries to close the distance and clinch but Ulrik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ulrik throws a head kick that misses.
Frew throws a sloppy head kick and Ulrik moves out of range easily.
Ulrik keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Frew looks gassed!
Ulrik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frew as he jumps to the side.

Ulrik looking to score a takedown here. Frew is defending well but Ulrik drives through and ends up in Frew's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ulrik's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Frew really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ulrik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ulrik has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Sanay Ulrik wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Frew looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ulrik is fending him off so far but Frew persists. Nope, Ulrik circles away and we're back to standing.
Ulrik shoots for a double leg takedown but Frew sprawls well. He's pushed Ulrik's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ulrik shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Frew shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ulrik counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ulrik throws a series of punches but Frew avoids them all with ease.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ulrik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Frew is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Ulrik manages to pull guard.

Ulrik is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Ulrik pulls guard.
Frew throws a big elbow that misses.
Ulrik keeping moving, preventing Frew from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ulrik wants to sweep here but Frew controlling him for the moment.

Ulrik is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ulrik has his hands on Frew's head, controlling the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ulrik is looking to clinch but Frew is avoiding it.
Frew misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ulrik fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frew manages to avoid it.
Frew doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Ulrik counters with a shoot takedown. Frew fights it but they end up in guard.
Ulrik advances position into side control!

Ulrik wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Frew, who protects the arm well.
Frew is looking for a sweep.
Ulrik controls the position from side control.

Ulrik works to advance to full mount. Frew defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Ulrik thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Ulrik is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Ulrik!
