Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Trap Door. Lotus has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lotus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lotus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mendez has time to react.
Mendez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lotus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lotus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mendez.
Mendez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lotus pinned against the cage. Lotus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lotus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lotus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lotus wants it to stay on the feet.
