Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tore Rebo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zyd Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rebo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Papa Roach - Burn. Torres has chosen Game Over as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tore Rebo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zyd Torres's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws an off balance right hand
and Torres takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Torres feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Torres won't allow Rebo to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rebo holds on and takes a little breather.
Rebo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rebo wants to stand and escape but Torres is having none of it.
Torres postures up in Rebo's guard and throws a big left but Rebo blocks it.
Rebo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Torres's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Torres throws a low kick, looking for Rebo's leg but Rebo calmly moves out of range.
Rebo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Torres.

and Rebo counters with an outside leg kick.
Torres changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rebo walks into a left hand.
Rebo throws a head kick but Torres moves out of range.
Torres connects with a body shot that sends Rebo's belly button to the back.
Rebo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Torres can pounce on him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A punch lands to the side of Torres 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Zyd Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rebo throws out a loose jab but Torres uses good head movement to avoid it.

Torres swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Torres bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rebo's head backwards.
Rebo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Torres missing with a left hand there. Rebo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Torres shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rebo pinned against the cage. Rebo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Torres shoots in looking for a takedown but Rebo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Torres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rebo swings for the body but Torres moves out of range.

Torres is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Rebo counters with a three punch combo that has Torres backing up. Torres nods at Rebo to acknowledge the strikes.

Torres swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A lazy left from Rebo finds it's target.
Torres takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Rebo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Torres throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rebo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Torres fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rebo jabs Torres right on the nose. Torres blinks but takes it well.

Rebo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Torres throws a lazy right hand but Rebo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Torres is still on wobbly legs! Can Rebo finish him?

Rebo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Torres.
Torres takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Torres throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rebo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Torres pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rebo is out of range and Torres settles back down.

Torres seems to have recovered his senses.
Torres tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rebo was well out of range. Poor timing from Torres.
Rebo lands with a hook. Torres tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rebo walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Torres drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rebo swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Torres's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
