Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piper has chosen Real Men Wear Skirts as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid misses with a two punch combination.
Quid cracks a nice hook into Piper's ribs.

Piper throws a looping overhand right but Quid ducks down to avoid it.
Quid throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Piper sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Piper lands a nice shot to the body.

Piper throws a push kick but Quid slaps the foot to one side.
Quid stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Quid throws a chopping leg kick but Piper manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Piper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quid pinned against the cage. Quid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Piper's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Quid connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Piper scrambles back to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Quid, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
