Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harper Pool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo comes to the cage accompanied by Squeeze 1st-Jay-Z. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harper Pool!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pool tries to clinch up but Halo circles away and keeps his distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Halo. Pool does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pool steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Halo. That one must have hurt.
Pool throws a series of punches but Halo avoids them all with ease.
Halo scores with a nice body kick.
Halo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pool misses with a wild combination.
Pool thows a leg kick but Halo checks it
and Halo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pool's knee momentarily.
Halo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pool looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Halo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pool stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A right-left combo lands from Halo.


It looks like Harper Pool has been cut.
Halo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Halo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pool's calf.
Halo lands with a slapping head kick.
Halo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Halo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Halo.
Pool looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Halo lands a nice shot to the body.
Pool tries to move into range but Halo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Halo blocks a leg kick.
Pool takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Halo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pool has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
An inside leg kick lands from Halo.
Halo works Pool's body with a nice hook.
Pool swings away with a leg kick that misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Halo scores with a shot to the body.
Good leg kick by Halo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pool on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Halo. Halo obviously looking to wear him down.
Michael Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Halo.
Halo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pool if he has to take too many more of those.
Halo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Halo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Halo thows a body kick. Pool tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Pool has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Halo finds it's way round the side to connect with Pool's head.
A good leg kick by Halo.
Halo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


Pool is rocked!

Halo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pool sprawling to the canvas! Pool rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Halo finish him?!
Pool is still on wobbly legs! Can Halo finish him?
Halo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pool looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pool doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Halo works the jab nicely.
Halo thumps Pool with a low kick.
Halo connects with a right hand. Pool shakes it off.
Halo steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Pool is out on his feet! Halo sets himself and nearly takes Pool's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Michael Halo!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Michael Halo made sure he mentioned Firebird Designs, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
