Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il comes to the cage accompanied by North Korea. Glen Starner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Glen Starner!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starner scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A lazy left from Starner finds it's target.
Il swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Il walks into a left hand.
Starner misses with a wild combination.
Starner is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Il shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Starner scores with a jab to the head.

Il takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Starner is stalling here. Il is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Starner seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Il has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Il.
Starner shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Il eats them both and turns towards Starner to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Starner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Il tries to throw a body punch but Starner avoids it by throwing Il back against the cage.
Il is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Starner is keeping busy.

Starner gets control of Il's arms and successfully pulls guard. Starner will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kim Young Il will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Starner drops Il with a naaaaasty hook - Il is in real trouble here! Starner dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
