Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Sawyer with that takedown attempt.
Sawyer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jakare checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jakare throws a right and a left that Sawyer avoids nicely.
Sawyer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jakare is trying to defend but Sawyer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jakare looks like he's trying to stand up.

Jakare has hold of Sawyer's hands but Sawyer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sawyer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jakare is just riding it out for now. Sawyer eventually gives up the hold.

Jakare takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Sawyer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sawyer lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jakare down.
Sawyer cracks Jakare with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sawyer immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Jakare is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sawyer!
