Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Walker's choice of entrance music: The Doors - Peace Frog. Jack Walker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Shawn Chen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shawn Chen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Walker!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Walker.
Chen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Walker shoots in and bounces Chen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walker wants to control from the top but Chen keeps moving.

Walker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Walker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ground and pound from Walker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Walker drags the fight down to the ground.
Chen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Chen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Walker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chen is aware though and is defending well.

Walker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chen manages to get himself to full guard.

Walker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chen!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chen is squirming around, avoiding Walker's attempts to control the action.

Chen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Chen is looking to wear down Walker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Walker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Chen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
