He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

John Kyle Romo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Romo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Romo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Romo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thompson at a distance.
Romo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Romo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Thompson has time to react.
Thompson is still on wobbly legs! Can Romo finish him?
Romo looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Romo backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Thompson's temple! It sends Thompson violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Romo celebrates and the doctors try to help Thompson!
