Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Elliot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Callum Elliot!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman thows a body shot but no joy.
Roman fails with a takedown attempt.
Elliot throws a right hand that misses

and Roman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Roman uses his free foot to push down on Elliot's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Elliot.
Elliot blocking the ground and pound.
Roman looking to control but Elliot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
You get the feeling that Elliot really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Elliot avoids a series of strikes thrown by Roman.
Roman with shots to the head and body - Elliot looks very uncomfortable down there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Elliot is squirming around, avoiding Roman's attempts to control the action.

Roman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Elliot is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Roman! Elliot is hurt baaadly! Roman is firing away with more strikes - Elliot is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greco Roman!
Greco Roman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
