Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coby Skrilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cam Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skrilla comes to the cage accompanied by J.Cole - Rise and Shine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skrilla stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stroud.
Skrilla scores with a hook.
Stroud tries a head kick but it misses.
Stroud misses with a series of wild punches.
Skrilla is looking to land body kicks.
Skrilla scores with a kick to the body.
Stroud checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Skrilla slips a straight right by Stroud.
Skrilla lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Stroud jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Skrilla swings for the body but Stroud moves out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Skrilla crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stroud - the referee stops the clock and Skrilla gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stroud. Skrilla manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cam Stroud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Skrilla fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stroud looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stroud.

A head kick misses from Skrilla.
Stroud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Skrilla lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Skrilla connects with a high kick.
Stroud throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stroud throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skrilla sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Skrilla throws a solid leg kick but Stroud takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Skrilla.

A looping hook to the body misses from Skrilla. Stroud does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Stroud makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stroud shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stroud checks a leg kick.

Skrilla throws a sloppy head kick and Stroud moves out of range easily.

A slapping leg kick lands for Skrilla.
A thudding body kick lands there by Skrilla!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Skrilla moves out of range as Stroud throws a body kick.
A big right from Stroud misses.
Stroud looks to land a left hand but Skrilla moved out of range nicely.
Skrilla lands with a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coby Skrilla dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Skrilla is looking to wear down Stroud with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Skrilla misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Stroud counters with a two punch combo.
Stroud wants to clinch up but Skrilla keeps it at a distance.
Stroud throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Skrilla counters with a crisp one two that drops Stroud! Skrilla thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stroud to his feet! Stroud is in big trouble!

Coby Skrilla is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Coby Skrilla decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
