With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Darko lands with a good body shot.
Darko throws a sloppy head kick and Lopez moves out of range easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Darko.
Darko misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lopez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lopez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Darko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lopez.

Darko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lopez tries to avoid it but Darko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lopez to the ground. Lopez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lopez leaves Darko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ace Darko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lopez feints and then cracks Darko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Darko down.
