Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Tebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horton comes to the cage accompanied by Ironman. Tebow comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tim Tebow's Fire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nick Horton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tebow circles away quickly and effectively.
Horton cracks the inside of Tebow's front leg.
Tebow fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Tebow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tebow gets caught napping as Horton dives in and scores a takedown. Tebow manages to retain guard.
Horton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Horton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Tebow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Horton gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tebow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tebow wants it to stay on the feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Horton closes the distance and clinches up with Tebow, looking for a takedown. Horton pushes Tebow against the cage but Tebow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Horton. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Horton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Horton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Nick Horton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Horton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tebow's guard.

Tebow has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Horton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tebow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tebow tries to avoid it but Horton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tebow to the ground. Tebow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Horton.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Horton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
