Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killian Gallagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Alexandrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gallagher might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kakkahätä 77 - Tää on sun helvetti. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anton Alexandrov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandrov with a poor takedown
and Gallagher counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gallagher looks to land a combination but Alexandrov avoids it well.

Alexandrov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gallagher to the mat! Gallagher manages to get full guard.
Alexandrov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gallagher works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Alexandrov wants to control from the top but Gallagher keeps moving.

Anton Alexandrov has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Gallagher slaps away a takedown attempt from Alexandrov, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Alexandrov has managed to clinch.
Alexandrov is pressed up against the cage. Gallagher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alexandrov down to the mat. Alexandrov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gallagher misses with a jab, cross combination.
Alexandrov shoots for a double leg takedown but Gallagher sprawls well. He's pushed Alexandrov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Killian Gallagher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Alexandrov.

Gallagher misses with a few strikes there.
Alexandrov throws a head kick but Gallagher moves out of range.

Alexandrov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gallagher sprawls well. Gallagher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alexandrov gets slowly back to his feet.

Gallagher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Alexandrov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Alexandrov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gallagher, who protects the arm well.
Gallagher is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gallagher tries to get to full guard but Alexandrov has control of the leg.

Gallagher is defending against the submission attempts here by Alexandrov.

Alexandrov is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Gallagher still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Gallagher has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Alexandrov manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Gallagher is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alexandrov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alexandrov's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alexandrov looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gallagher is trying to stick to Alexandrov's back but Alexandrov is turning into Gallagher. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gallagher's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Alexandrov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alexandrov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gallagher scores with a crisp jab that stopped Alexandrov in his tracks.

Alexandrov stalling away here and it's allowed Gallagher to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Alexandrov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gallagher is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gallagher has escaped and now he's on top!

Gallagher postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alexandrov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gallagher, into his guard.

Gallagher throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Alexandrov escapes and throws Gallagher's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Alexandrov is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gallagher is trying to escape and Alexandrov transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gallagher is forced to tap! Nice work there by Alexandrov! Very nice indeed!
