Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kauko Partio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Skyshriek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Partio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Popeda - Mä elän vieläkin. Skyshriek has chosen Moonlight Sonata as his entrance music. Zack Skyshriek will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Partio closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Skyshriek quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Skyshriek is looking for a sweep. Partio is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Partio is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Skyshriek sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kauko Partio.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
