Turk comes to the cage accompanied by Deeper and Down. The crowd seem to be enjoying Williams's choice of entrance music: Willie Nelson - Whiskey River . Evan Williams has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk shoots in but no luck this time.
Turk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Turk finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Williams is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Turk won't allow Williams to sweep him here.
Turk throws a big right hand that misses.
Turk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.
Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Williams manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Williams wants to control the pace but Turk is squirming around nicely.

Turk wants to hold on but Williams pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Williams's lack of action.
Williams wants to take a breather but Turk is having none of it.

Williams tries to pass the half guard into mount. Turk knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Evan Williams wasn't active enough on the ground.

Turk misses with a looping left.
Turk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Williams does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Williams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Turk checks it well.
Williams turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Turk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away.
Williams thumps Turk with a low kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turk pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Williams scoring well with a low kick there.
Turk throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Williams swings for the body but Turk moves out of range.
Turk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turk misses with an uppercut.
Turk loads up on a big right hand but Williams slips the punch.
Turk drives through with a takedown into guard.
Williams wants to sweep but no luck.
Turk throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely.
Turk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Turk is one step ahead there.

Turk makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Turk pushes down on Williams's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Williams is looking for a sweep. Turk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Turk seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Williams is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
