Koltun has chosen Hans Solo - Dopoki jestem as his entrance music. Konrad Koltun is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Brealey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Konrad Koltun!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brealey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Koltun counters with a good, hard body kick but Brealey shrugs it off.
Sloppy strikes from Brealey. Those never looked like landing.
Brealey stuffs the takedown.
Koltun lands a body shot.
Koltun wants to clinch.
A big left from Brealey misses.
A jab from Brealey misses.
Good work by Brealey as he checks the leg kick.
Brealey throws a sloppy head kick and Koltun moves out of range easily.

Koltun is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brealey's half guard.

Koltun thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brealey's head.
Brealey is staying active underneath Koltun, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Koltun wants to advance to full mount but Brealey doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Koltun wants to control from the top but Brealey keeps moving.
Brealey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Brealey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koltun manages to get himself to full guard.

Brealey tries to lock up and control but Koltun gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Brealey takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brealey tries to hold on but Koltun pushes him away.
Brealey is desperately trying to improve his position but Koltun has a good base and remains in mount.
Brealey is bucking up trying to escape but Koltun cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brealey bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Koltun pulls Brealey in close to prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Koltun has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Koltun is on top in guard.
Brealey wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Koltun is now in half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brealey wants to stand but Koltun has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Brealey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Koltun checks a leg kick.
Koltun moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Koltun needs to keep his hands up - Brealey had a free shot at his head there.
Koltun blocks a low kick nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koltun, as that shot connected.

Brealey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brealey wants it to stay on the feet.

Brealey pushes Koltun off and gets back to his feet.
Brealey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brealey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brealey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koltun moves away.

Brealey lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Brealey just misses with a punch to the body.

Koltun feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brealey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Koltun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Koltun must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Koltun is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Brealey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alex Brealey will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Brealey lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brealey.

Brealey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Brealey swings wildly with an uppercut but Koltun uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A quick uppercut on the inside from Koltun.

Koltun has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Brealey regains guard immediately.

Brealey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Koltun defends well.

Brealey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koltun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Brealey is tightening it up a little... Koltun has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Koltun reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Koltun taps out! Nice BJJ there by Brealey!
