The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Random dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lodin. That did some damage!
Random looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Random tries to clinch but Lodin is having none of it.
Random throws a shot from downtown. Lodin moves away and avoids it.
Lodin slips a jab from Random.
Random takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fighters circling - Lodin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Random takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Random swings for the body but Lodin moves out of range.
Random throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Lodin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lodin slips a jab from Random.
Lodin lands with a slapping head kick.
Random is looking to clinch.
Random on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Random stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lodin throws a looping overhand right but Random ducks down to avoid it.
Lodin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Random's sensitive parts.
Nice straight punches there by Lodin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lodin.

Lodin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Random tries to buck Lodin off but Lodin is having none of it.

The ground and pound from Lodin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Random tries to bench press Lodin off him but Lodin keeps the position.
Random sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lodin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lodin.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lodin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Random in real trouble here! The ref calls for Random to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
