The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hall.

It looks like Johnny Quid has been cut.

Hall shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Quid will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Quid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it.
Quid lands with a kick to the temple. Hall shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quid circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice takedown defense from Quid. No joy for Hall on that attempt.
Hall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hall goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Quid is rocked!

Quid rushes Hall and presses him up against the cage.
Quid is still on wobbly legs! Can Hall finish him?

Quid seems to have recovered his senses.

Quid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quid.
Quid has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hall.

Quid has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Quid there as he acknowledges the shot.

Hall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Quid. Quid circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Good leg kick by Hall there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close second round but I would say that Don Hall will probably get the nod.
