Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by War - The Sick Puppies. Nolan Martin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nolan Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimble Cho!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin slips a jab and a cross from Cho.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cho throws a nice outside leg kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Martin.
Martin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kimble Cho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cho manages to avoid it.
Cho lands a glancing blow to the side of Martin's head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cho.
Cho lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Cho digs a right hand into Martin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Martin's gas tank.
Cho blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Martin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cho pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Martin is looking to control Cho's arms but Cho gets an underhook and turns him. Now Martin has his back to the cage.

Martin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cho fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Martin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cho - the referee stops the clock and Martin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cho. Martin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cho has closed the distance and engaged Martin in a clinch.

Cho tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Cho scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Martin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cho as he avoids it easily.
Martin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Cho can't find room to land a body shot as Martin controls the action.
Martin pushes Cho back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Martin misses with a punch to the body.
Cho scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Martin blocks a body shot from Cho.
Cho avoiding damage as Martin throws knees to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cho fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Martin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Martin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Cho lands a nice leg kick that just misses Martin's sensitive parts.

Cho lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Martin looks to land a right hand but Cho moved out of range.

Cho has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cho feints and then cracks Martin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martin down.
Cho moves in looking to clinch but Martin pushes him off.

Cho dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martin. That did some damage!

Kimble Cho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Martin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Martin walks into a straight right hand from Cho.
Martin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cho motions for Martin to come forward. Cho throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cho blocks a jab.
Cho is looking to clinch but Martin is avoiding it.
Martin throws a body punch but Cho moves out of range.
Cho throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Martin counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cho's knee momentarily.
Cho lands a jab to the nose.
Martin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cho sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Martin avoids the body shot from Cho.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cho lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Martin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cho sprawls well. Cho wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cho connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Martin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cho at a distance.
Martin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cho. That one must have hurt.

A punch lands to the side of Martin 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Martin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cho is trying to defend but Martin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cho is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cho is defending against the submission attempts here by Martin.
Cho has hold of Martin's hands but Martin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Cho wants to improve his position but Martin is controlling well.
Martin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Martin with the ground and pound but Cho uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Cho looking for a sweep. Not yet Cho, not yet.
Martin wants to control from the top but Cho keeps moving.
Martin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Martin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cho looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Martin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Martin postures up and lands a big shot to Cho's brow.
Cho pulls Martin in close to prevent any damage.
Martin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Martin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cho's head.
Cho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Martin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Martin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cho looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martin is one step ahead there.
Martin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Martin throws a strike but Cho rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Martin has his hands on Cho's head, controlling the position.
Cho trying to stand up but can't free himself from Martin's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nolan Martin showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Cho has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
