Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquin Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think King might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Seasons in the Abyss. Fortunado has chosen Stairway to Heaven as his entrance music. Eddie King has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortunado scores with a kick to the midsection.
Fortunado throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent King stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fortunado tries to bum rush King with a series of wild strikes but King uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fortunado catches King napping and connects with a big right hand that sends King to the canvas!
Eddie King's cut is getting worse.
Fortunado drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Fortunado off! Fortunado jumps back into King's guard.
Fortunado is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! King is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! King has escaped and now he's on top!

Fortunado is looking to sinch up a triangle. King throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fortunado's body to avoid the submission. Fortunado has instead reached around King's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fortunado arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

In his post fight interview, Joaquin Fortunado started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
