Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aima Hei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hei's entrance music is Immortal Technique - The Rebel. A fine choice. Blatt has chosen you're going down- sick puppies as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aima Hei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Blatt!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blatt throws a leg kick but Hei sees it coming and moves out of range.
Hei slips under a jab from Blatt.
Hei throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hei is looking to land body kicks.
Hei ducks under a wild hook from Blatt.
Hei steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blatt.
Blatt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blatt.
Blatt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hei but Hei pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hei tests Blatt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hei motions for Blatt to come forward. Hei throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hei throws a hook but Blatt blocks it.
Hei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blatt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hei plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Jeff Blatt has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blatt takes a swing at Hei's ribcage but misses.

Hei swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blatt misses with a looping right.

Blatt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Blatt trying to mount his opponent but Hei defends it.
Blatt is trying to control. Hei wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Blatt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hei is just riding it out for now. Blatt eventually gives up the hold.
It looks like Blatt is going to stand back up.

Hei holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Blatt is keen to just control but Hei is a slippery customer.

Blatt seems to be looking for submissions.
Hei is staying active underneath Blatt, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hei won't allow Blatt to pass to mount.
Hei is trying to maintain the position but Blatt is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hei is looking to control Blatt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hei avoid being mounted?
Blatt is keen to just control but Hei is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Blatt in particular looking to stall.
Blatt prevents Hei from improving his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hei shoots in for a takedown but Blatt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Aima Hei will probably get the nod.

Hei gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blatt manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hei gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Blatt.
Aima Hei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Blatt.

Blatt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Blatt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hei circles away quickly and effectively.

Hei lands with an uppercut that bounces Blatt off the cage and back into range.

Hei thuds his right hand into Blatt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blatt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Blatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hei sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hei throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Blatt's head.

Blatt is rocked!
Hei lands a brutal uppercut that launches Blatt off his feet! Blatt tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aima Hei!
Aima Hei tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
