The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaunessey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shaunessey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Botwin closes the distance but Shaunessey moves to the side
and Shaunessey counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shaunessey.
Shaunessey lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Leyton Botwin has been cut.

Botwin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shaunessey has him pressed against the ropes.

Botwin tries to circle away but Shaunessey has him pinned against the ropes.

Botwin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and as Botwin takes a moment to reset, Shaunessey counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Botwin goes down! He's in big trouble, can he recover? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10. He's out! Shaunessey is your winner!

A relieved looking Vaughn Shaunessey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
