Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joel Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bailey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome to the TerrorDome. Steele has chosen Ironman as his entrance music. Joel Bailey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steele throws the left hand but Bailey avoids the punch easily.
Steele catches Bailey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bailey takes one to the side of the head.
Bailey shoots for a takedown but Steele saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Steele slips under a jab.
Bailey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steele but Steele pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Steele stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joel Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bailey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steele to the mat! Steele manages to get full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bailey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Steele has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bailey has managed to get both his arms back between Steele's legs - danger averted.

Steele can't keep his opponent in guard - Bailey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bailey thows a huge punch but Steele dodges it nicely.

Bailey lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Steele is looking for a sweep. Bailey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Steele is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Bailey has latched onto it... Big trouble! Bailey pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Steele is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Bailey!
