PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tyzzkling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fat by Weird Al Yankovic. Tyzzkling has chosen Dagger (mustasch) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Tyzzkling!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose connects with a right hand. Tyzzkling shakes it off.
Rose attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Rose clobbers Tyzzkling with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rose moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Tyzzkling. Those never looked like landing.
Tyzzkling throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rose cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tyzzkling takes one on the button.
Rose lands a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyzzkling has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tyzzkling there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rose works Tyzzkling's body with a nice hook.
Rose scores with a hook.
Rose lands with a straight right. Tyzzkling didn't see that one coming.
Rose scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Tyzzkling walks straight into a right hand from Rose - that's dropped him! Rose jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tyzzkling from any more punishment! Tyzzkling complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). George Rose!
A relieved looking George Rose thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
