Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sye Moon Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tebato Nakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sye Moon Kim could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tebato Nakara's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sye Moon Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tebato Nakara!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kim misses with an uppercut.
Nakara misses the shot to the body.
A left and a right from Kim both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Tebato Nakara has been cut.
Nakara will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nakara has hold of Kim's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kim manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nakara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kim tries to avoid it but Nakara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kim to the ground. Kim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sye Moon Kim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim throws a nice looking combination but Nakara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nakara tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kim swivels and escapes.
Kim throws a right hand that Nakara ducks under and follows up with a left that Nakara also avoids with ease.

Kim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nakara tries to move into range but Kim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Nakara feints and as Kim raises his hands in defense, Nakara changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nakara is looking for a kimura but Kim is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nakara to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim has left one of his arms exposed and Nakara doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Kim screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
