Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Meyers!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Meyers is defended easily by Rook.
Meyers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rook to the ground. Meyers is now in Rook's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Meyers trying to control the position from guard on top but Rook is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rook has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Rook keeping moving, preventing Meyers from controlling successfully.
Rook is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rook on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rook tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meyers drops back looking for a leg! Rook is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rook manages to kick Meyers off! Meyers jumps back into Rook's guard.
Meyers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rook swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Meyers trying to control but Rook is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meyers won't allow Rook to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Meyers has gone for a leg lock! Rook slips out almost immediately though and dives into Meyers's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rook postures up.
Meyers has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rook doesn't defend quickly enough and Meyers has managed to lock this one up! Can Rook escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Meyers on a fantastic submission victory.
