Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grant Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krwawy Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy comes to the cage accompanied by LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out. Grant Brophy looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant Brophy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez connects with a single shot there.
Brophy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Brophy darts in and clinches Lopez up against the cage.
Lopez has Brophy pushed against the cage.
Lopez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brophy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lopez blocks an uppercut.
Brophy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brophy swings wildly with an uppercut but Lopez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brophy with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Brophy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lopez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Brophy trying to control the position but instead, Lopez has worked for underhooks and has pushed Brophy into the cage.

Brophy seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Lopez is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Lopez wants the takedown. Brophy is fighting it off but Lopez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brophy's guard against the cage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Brophy wants to stand up but Lopez is controlling him.
Lopez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Brophy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brophy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brophy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Lopez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Lopez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lopez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lopez trying to control the position from guard on top but Brophy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Brophy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brophy is breathing heavily.
Lopez lands with a thumping leg kick.
Brophy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lopez connects with a body shot.
A right-left combo lands from Lopez.
Grant Brophy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lopez throws a head kick that Brophy semi-blocks.

It looks like Grant Brophy has been cut.
Brophy wants to clinch
and Lopez counters with a good, hard body kick but Brophy shrugs it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brophy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lopez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lopez scores with a leg kick.

Lopez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brophy to the ground. Lopez is now in Brophy's guard.
Lopez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lopez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lopez passes easily into side control. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brophy is letting Lopez control him for a moment.
Lopez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Brophy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lopez connects with a decent elbow.
Brophy wants to get back to his feet but Lopez drags him back down.
You can see the frustration on Brophy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lopez lands some shots froms side control.

Let's hope that Lopez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lopez is putting a hurting on Brophy here, landing some big shots from side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lopez lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brophy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lopez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lopez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lopez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brophys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lopez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lopez scores with a jab to the head.

Brophy is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Lopez! Brophy is out on his feet! Lopez rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Brophy is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Brophy is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
