The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holden gets tackled into the cage by Murphy. Murphy maintains the clinch.
Holden tries to pull guard but Murphy holds him up against the cage and eventually Holden drops back down to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Murphy enables Holden to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Murphy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Murphy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holden's guard.
Judge Holden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Murphy passes Holden's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Patrick Murphy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Holden is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A decent looking cross lands there for Holden.
Holden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Judge Holden has been cut.
Murphy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Holden. That did some damage!
Oh Holden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holden looks up at the clock. Bad move! Murphy lands a right hand from hell, dropping Holden. Murphy pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
