Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dieter Von Schlager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Shahanshah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Schlager swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shahanshah feints and then cracks Von Schlager's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Von Schlager down.
Von Schlager thows a body shot but no joy.
Shahanshah closes the distance and clinches up with Von Schlager, looking for a takedown. Shahanshah pushes Von Schlager against the ropes but Von Schlager circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Von Schlager remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
