Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luka Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin O Neill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neill is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sing for the moment - Eminem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from O Neill.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Beck.
A good leg kick by Beck.
O Neill shoots in for a takedown but Beck shows good takedown defense.
O Neill throws a jab when Beck was well out of range.
O Neill misses the jab.
Beck misses the shot to the body.

Luka Beck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin O Neill.
O Neill tried to score with a low kick but Beck checks it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beck lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and O Neill has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from O Neill and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Beck gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Luka Beck will probably get the nod.

O Neill throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beck was covering up waiting for the punch and O Neill finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Martin O Neill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Luka Beck.
