Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Ravager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane has chosen Come To Daddy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ray Ravager could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John McClane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Ravager!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John McClane!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane throws a series of punches but Ravager avoids them all with ease.
McClane tried to score with a low kick but Ravager checks it.
Ravager shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McClane as he avoids it easily.
McClane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ravager walks into a jab.
Ravager takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McClane looks to land a body kick but Ravager moved away.
Ravager fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McClane avoids it really well and circles away.
McClane lands a nice shot to the body.
McClane throws a half hearted mid kick.
McClane misses with a few strikes there.
Nice takedown defense from McClane. No joy for Ravager on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Ravager. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McClane tries to sprawl but Ravager drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ravager uses his free foot to push down on McClane's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McClane.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McClane wants to control but Ravager is having none of it.

Ravager is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McClane has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Ravager has control of McClane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McClane regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ravager has isolated one of McClane's arms. McClane looking to fight him off but Ravager twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ray Ravager!
