Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rambo Kalevi Kukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Wiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by till i collapse. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiel blocks a jab.
Kukkonen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kukkonen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kukkonen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Wiel is looking to improve his position but Kukkonen isn't that keen on the idea.

Kukkonen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wiel is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wiel and Kukkonen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Wiel is looking to regain half guard here but Kukkonen keeps moving and retains side control.
Wiel is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kukkonen asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Kukkonen has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wiel defend it? Kukkonen steps over the head and cranks it - Wiel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kukkonen!
